About Chosen Resource Center
Chosen Resource Center is a faith-inspired nonprofit resource hub based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, created to help people find the support, guidance, and resources they need.

We serve individuals and families facing difficult life transitions, including veterans, people experiencing homelessness, reentry citizens, and those searching for a path toward stability.

BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN NEED AND OPPORTUNITY
Many people need help but do not know where to begin. Chosen Resource Center exists to make that next step clearer.

Our work focuses on connecting people to local organizations, support services, and community resources that can help with housing, employment, veteran support, reentry needs, spiritual encouragement, and everyday stability.

We believe every person deserves to be seen, valued, and supported with dignity.
Our Founder
James Gray is the Executive Director and Founder of CHOSEN Resource Center, Inc. A 33‑year U.S. Army veteran, ordained minister, and experienced correctional case manager, James has spent his life helping individuals rebuild and reclaim their future.

After witnessing the challenges faced by returning citizens, veterans, and families in crisis, he founded CHOSEN Resource Center to provide the support, guidance, and resources people need to succeed.

James is supported by his wife of 36 years, Valerie, and their two children, James and Chantal, whose encouragement fuels his commitment to community transformation. His vision is simple: to ensure every person knows they are seen, valued, and chosen for a better life.
